Since o was very happy with the work they did on my roof, I contacted them to perform the repair on my chimney. We've just replaced our 55-year-old roof with Istueta following a neighbor's recommendation. We are very pleased with the results. It was a pleasure to deal with Juan (sales) and Peter (project director) who always readily answered all of our questions, especially because of the damages that required extensive repairs. We liked the "white glove" approach (they take care of all the paperwork with the City, inspections, etc), and the workers' punctuality, courteousness and cleanliness, despite of the brutal heat. I would advise not to begin your project in late spring!, also because of the heavy showers that inevitably delay the completion of the work. The Jacobea blend we chose for the clay tiles looks awesome and it's only a pity that the roofs are barely visible from the street ;). Highly recommend for your roofing projects.

We had our whole roof repaired 17 years ago. Istueta Roofing Company has come back to do some additional repairs recently. We love the professionalism of the whole group. Everyone is easy to deal with. The Istueta team gives 100% to get the job done well and on time.

Clean, fast, professional. Quality work. Easy to work with. The wood decking showing was replaced and painted. Beams were cleaned and painted. Gutter was replaced and installed better than before. 1 1/2” of foam added for insulation that’s installed so you don’t know it’s there. Flat, to the edges and flush at the transition to the roof. This was a one day job for them. Painting and gutters were done the next week. Most of the trash was gone by the first day. What was left was bagged for pickup by them neatly and picked up. Permitting was fast, passing inspection with no problems. Big company with lots of equipment and manpower.

I recently used Istueta Roofing for a major project for one of the properties that I manage and I must say, I am completely pleased with the entire experience. From the initial contact to the certificate of completion there was great communication throughout and a great deal of professionalism. My Consultant was Juan, he was very knowledgeable and transparent from the start. My Production Manager was Adalid, He and his team were always on time maintained an extremely neat and clean work site and kept clear communication during the project. After scouring the Miami market for the best roofers, I decided to hire Istueta because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and overall "vibe." Their capable team replaced a roof on a part of the house that was in terrible shape after neglect from a previous owner. Along the way we hit some bumps (termites, rot, all the fun things!) and they handled it with ease and made me feel comfortable - shoutout to Tony for dealing with my frantic texts. Another thing that impressed me with Istueta is the fact that it hardly felt like we were having work done - I've dealt with many contractors that leave their garbage and tools strewn about their work area and this was not the case. Every time they left, the area they were I was spotless. The area they worked on looks beautiful now and we plan on using them to replace the entire roof this summer when the house will be empty. Also, let me end things by saying that dealing with contractors in Miami is nearly impossible - they are rude, unresponsive, and unprofessional - Istueta is NOT part of this culture and continue to produce world-class work.

This is our second experience with Istueta Roofing. On both occasions we received the same exceptional service from start to finish. In fact, we were so pleased that I called the office both during and after the project completion to complement the quality service provided and in particular the project supervision under Tony’s direction. used them 20 years ago to replace our roof. They were great then and we had no problems since then. About 1 month ago we discovered a possible leak. They came out promptly, confirmed the problem and repaired the roof. Always cleaned up after the day’s work and were finished in 3 days. Cannot recommend them more highly.

All members of the staff were, at all times, very professional and efficient. The whole re-roofing process went smoothly and on a timely manner and this was a comercial unit of over 5400 sf located on Miami Beach, were permitting and the City are not precisely helpful. I initially sought a quote from Istueta figuring it would be an honest assessment, but a high price. Turns out it was honest and an incredibly fair price. The initial advisor explained all the potential work to me and I was ready to roll right then. As soon as we paid the deposit, the project manager Tony did an amazing job of explaining the process and getting the crew out there ASAP. Tony really excelled at making sure we knew what was going on and when. Due to it being an older house, there were a few (expected) hick-ups along the way. Tony was very thorough at explaining the issues and all my options, laying out the pros and cons for any decision I would have to make. When something needed to be done outside of the scope of the roofers, Tony was able to provide contacts that allowed us to continue work without delay. He was an All-star PM. At the end of the day, you might pay slightly more with Istueta but the quality of the work, the quality of the workers, and the professionalism of the team make it worth it. They were able to quickly get permits approved and all the work done before the rains come. I have already recommended them to my neighbors and family members. They might try to bribe you with tea and cookies but the roof work speaks for itself.

I used Istueta Roofing last month to do a complete re-roof. I was so pleased with the process from beginning to end. From the designing phase, choosing colors and discussing project timeline with Antony, the project manager, to the very end upon final inspection, it completely flowed. My home was left in impeccable conditions after every working day; there was not a screw or a candy wrapper left on the floor for those 2-3 weeks of transformation. Antony was constantly updating me to inform me of the progress and expectations. I was never negatively surprised and communication was never an issue. Nothing happened without my knowledge or approval. The workers were very respectful and hardworking. I have honestly never experienced this kind of service in the construction industry. In less than 24 hours of our initial call, we had an estimate for our roof repair. A beautiful package was sent to our home along with a gift of teas and a thermos. They kept their promises as far as when they were going to start the project, how long it was going to take. Istueta Roofing replaced our barrel tile roof and used a polyglass modified bitumen roofing system for our flat roof area. Their bid was a little higher than the other bids, but their reputation is sterling. (I wasn't happy with the additional cost for the additional plywood that was needed and discovered after the old roof was removed, but they did warn us. They provided a very detailed contract with which we were satisfied.) We wanted a roof with professional workmanship that would withstand our Florida hurricanes. Their work and professionalism were worth the extra money. Rey Rebollo, our project manager, was outstanding. He was very professional and gave a personal touch by always being available with a smile and by going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. His word is his bond. If Rey said it would be done, you could count on it. We signed the contract on 6/8/20; the work began on 6/29/20 and the final inspection was done on 8/4/20. We are extremely pleased with a job well done! I would highly recommend Istueta Roofing & Rey Rebollo.

we had a great experience in all regards. quite frankly their estimate was the highest we received BUT we took a chance since based on our conversations with the sales person it appeared that the work would be performed to a higher standard. That proved to be true. The roof is outstanding (according to the county inspector) who also told me that in 25 years he has never heard of a single complaint about Istueta. The project manager was in constant text and phone contact with us throughout. They adapted and and took care of some "surprises" uncovered during the job once the old roof was removed and did so at no additional cost. Last, although they would not "commit" to finishing by Thanksgiving they did so nonetheless Istueta is the best and we recommended them to a friend who manages a six story condominium on MIami Beach. This company is fan-friggin-tastic and I wouldn’t waste my time with any other roofing company in Miami. They came to inspect, suggest and give me a quote, just like three other roofing companies, before Istueta. Every other company told me to just replace the roof and it wasn’t worth the repairs. They all claimed they could never find the old roof tile and it was better to do all new tile.$$$$$$$$ Well, Istueta gave me a very, reasonable quote and even located and matched my existing tile, with a limited supply, they came across (even though it WAS discontinued). I agreed to the work, they started the very next week and completed the work, well within the originally promised time-frame! Wow, I never have been treated this well by any Miami-based companies.
