Roofing Credentials for South Florida's coastal environment
Credentials and Certifications
Forty years of South Florida roofing produced a credential portfolio that no startup contractor can match. CertainTeed ShingleMaster PRO Roofer for asphalt shingle installations. MRA Best Metal Roofing Project, Q1 2023. Ludowici Elite Crown installer. Direct factory training across every major tile and metal manufacturer.
WARRANTY · TRAINING · ACCOUNTABILITY
Why Do Manufacturer Credentials Matter?
Manufacturer certifications grant access to extended warranties, factory training, quality audits, and the right to write coverage that non-certified contractors cannot. The credential is the visible proof that the contractor has completed manufacturer training and meets ongoing quality standards. The practice is the daily standard of work.
Roof material decisions in South Florida span multiple manufacturers.
What Credentials We Carry
For asphalt shingles: CertainTeed ShingleMaster PRO Roofer. Istueta exclusively installs CertainTeed asphalt shingle systems. The credential allows us to write CertainTeed's extended warranty with workmanship coverage on qualifying installations.
For metal roofing: MRA (Metal Roofing Alliance) Q1 Award 2023, plus authorized installer status with PAC-CLAD, Englert, and Berridge Manufacturing. For aluminum roofing and copper roofing, these certifications enable extended warranty coverage on standing-seam and architectural-sheet systems.
For tile roofing: Crown Roof Tiles and Verea Clay Tile certified applicator, Ludowici Elite Crown installer (clay tile). Each manufacturer's certification program requires installation training, fastener-pattern audits, and annual recertification.
For skylights and tubular daylighting: factory-trained installation of Solatube tubular daylighting fixtures and traditional skylight systems, with full manufacturer warranty coverage.
Why Multiple Credentials Compound
Roof material decisions in South Florida span multiple manufacturers. A homeowner choosing between tile and metal needs a contractor who's certified in both. A builder spec'ing a complex roof with skylights, gutters, and architectural shingles needs one contractor who can deliver all four credentials in writing.
Our multi-credential portfolio means one contractor handles the full project specification, warranty registration, and manufacturer liaison across every material in the scope.
How to Verify Our Credentials
CertainTeed ShingleMaster PRO Roofer status is verifiable through CertainTeed's contractor directory. The directory shows current certification status and credential tier.
MRA membership and the Q1 2023 Best Metal Roofing Project win are verifiable at the Metal Roofing Alliance website. We provide current certification documentation at request and at every proposal.

MRA Best Metal Roofing Project, Q1 2023. CertainTeed ShingleMaster PRO Roofer status is current and renewed per CertainTeed's recertification cycle. Tile, metal, and accessory credentials predate that; our teams hold factory training across tile, metal, and skylight manufacturers.
Are there manufacturers you don't carry?
We focus on the manufacturers whose products perform in South Florida coastal conditions and whose training programs maintain meaningful quality standards. We don't carry every roofing brand. We carry the ones we'd put on our own homes.
