3 Simple Ways to “Touch” More Miami Roofing Customers


As it turns out, touch is an important part of turning a lead into a sale for any business. But not the sort of touch you’re thinking.

In marketing, “touch” refers to “touch-point”. It refers to a number of methods we use to get in touch or contact with a potential customer. A phone call, flier, or online marketing are all great examples of ways we can stay at the forefront of a prospect’s mind.

In a study by the National Sales Executive Association, the amount of prospects who convert to a sale is directly correlated with the amount of touches they received in the process. 80% of sales are made between the fifth and twelfth touch!

Math doesn’t lie. Roughly 98% of sales are left on the table, because most sales professionals only have one communication with a prospects. Would you want to purchase from someone that makes you feel like they forgot about you?

Note, this doesn’t need to be a formal conversation about sales. Sometimes we just like to follow up on a major life event our customers mention. Leaving a voicemail or message with someone counts, too! The goal is to simply remind to remind you that we’re here and a good option for you.

  • Snail-mail

Something as simple as a newsletter or as memorable as a creative package is one more way to grab your attention. While we know many think the mail is old fashioned as well, we have one particular client that loves everything we send them. Even something as simple as a postcard! 🙂

  • You’ve got mail…of the other kind.

An email every now and again is an easy way to remind you that we’re still around for you! Sometimes we throw in a special promotion or offer while we’re at it.

While meeting in person or talking on the phone are always our recommended touch-points, all the above count, too!
