It’s that time of year again and lucky for you, roofing isn’t the only thing we are professionally skilled in! We also happen to be some very talented turkey briners! There’s a reason this recipe is requested year after year!
So loosen up that belt and prepare to devour the best turkey you have ever tasted!
Miami’s Best Turkey Brine Recipe –
- 1 12-14 lbs Turkey
- 1 Cup Salt (we prefer using less salt and adding more spices; we recommend you try it!)
- 1 Lemon cut into wedges
- 1 Orange, cut into wedges
- 1 Medium Onion, cut into wedges
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Bay Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Thyme
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 ½ gallons Cold Water
Rub salt on the turkey. Place ingredients and remaining salt into a large pot, then adding the turkey and lastly the water. Keep it in the fridge overnight. In the morning you can throw out the brine and roast your turkey as planned! You’re turkey will be melt in your mouth tender and have amazing flavor!
